The U.S. Embassy Launches an Alumni Census
The Embassy of the United States in Cameroon is conducting a census of participants in Department of State (DOS)-sponsored exchange programs. If you are a Humphrey Fellow, Fulbrighter, former International Visitor or Voluntary Visitor, please register now.
The goal of this census, organized in collaboration with the International Visitor, Humphrey and Fulbright Alumni Associations, is to identify members of this ever- increasing alumni community, and catalog the various specialties, functions and interests of alumni across the country. Eventually, a database of all exchange program alumni will be created in order to foster communication, mutual assistance and networking among alumni. This database will be updated regularly to include new members and a comprehensive directory will be published.
All participants in DOS exchange programs such as the International Visitor Program, the Voluntary Visitor Program, the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program, the Fulbright Program, and the Citizen Exchange Program, are invited to complete the attached registration form and return as an email attachment to camUSAlumni@state.gov. You may also submit a hard copy of the completed registration form to the following contacts:
All Department of State exchange program participants are encouraged to join the State Alumni Online Community. To register, go to https://alumni.state.gov and click the “join” link. Registering will give formers participants access to alumni world-wide and open up a world of opportunities, including additional fellowships, internships and scholarships.
