The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé requests all non-immigrant visa applicants to use the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF) found at the website www.evisaforms.state.gov. This electronic form will allow for faster processing of your application.
Effective September 15, 2006, the Consular Section will no longer provide DS-156 non-immigrant visa application forms in paper format. Nevertheless, the DS-156 non-immigrant applicaton form in paper format, if obtained prior to that date, will continue to be accepted by the Consular Section through September 29, 2006.
Please note that applicants who arrive at the Consular Section without their own completed application forms in hand after September 15, 2006, will not be interviewed and will have to reschedule their interview appointments.
Effective September 30, 2006, the paper format of DS-156 non-immigrant visa forms will no longer be accepted. Applicants who arrive at the Consular Section without the Electronic Visa Application Form will not be interviewed and will have to reschedule their interview appointments.
Applicants’ adherence to these upcoming changes is greatly appreciated.
