Expedited Appt Request
In order to facilitate emergency travel for certain businessmen, students and people requiring specialized medical attention, the consular section has adopted a policy for expedited appointments.
This policy allows certain travelers to obtain expedited appointments, but does not affect the visa requirement or imply visa issuance.
Applicants must first schedule an appointment using our website at http://yaounde.usembassy.gov. If that appointment does not meet their travel plans, requests to expedite visa appointments need to be made via e-mail to YaoundeNIV@state.gov and should begin with a subject line that reads: “Request for Expedited Visa Appointment” We attempt to honor expedite requests when possible.
