Fulbright 2013-2014 Announcement
The Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy in Yaoundé is pleased to announce the annual Fulbright grants competition for academic year 2013-2014.
The Fulbright grant categories open for competition are: the African Research Scholar program; the Junior Staff Development program (JSD); and the Junior Staff Enhancement Program (JSE).
The African Senior Research Scholar program provides grants to foreign scholars to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions. Applicants must have a doctoral degree, at least three years of university teaching experience, and speak English well. Completed applications must be submitted by March 18, 2012.
The Junior Staff Development Program is open to candidates seeking a Masters or Doctoral degree in all fields but not in medicine. It also offers training in a non-degree research and a non-academic program in culture (music, arts or museum curator), Fluency in English is required. Completed applications must be submitted by March 18, 2012.
The Junior Staff Enhancement Program for French-speaking applicants is offered to candidates qualified to pursue a master’s degree in the fields of economics, history, information sciences, political science, and public administration but not in medicine or business. Successful candidates undergo intensive English language training before they are enrolled in the program. Completed applications must be submitted by March 18, 2012.
