Non-Salaried Intern

The U.S. Embassy in Yaounde has an immediate opening for a non-salaried intern.

Open to:                       Current University, College or Advanced School students or students 
                                    who graduated within the last 2  years.
                                
Opening Date:                October 14, 2009

Closing Date:          October 28, 2009

Duration of Internship:   Not to Exceed One Year

Work Hours:                     40 hours/week

Salary:           Non-remunerated

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITIONS:

The intern will assist in the day to day system administration in the Information Systems Center.  The incumbent will perform tasks such as monitoring system backups, adding new users, inventorying system software/hardware and responding to user requests within the Chancery. 

Qualification Required:
1. At least 2 years University/College studies in Computer Science or related field.
2. Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required.
